Effective Acoustic Comfort

Ultrasound Blinds shading systems combine aesthetic with visual, thermal and acoustic comfort, as solar protection becomes a crucial element in interior design. Providing the best comfort for users whatever the need and configuration of the building, is vital if buildings are to enhance occupant performance by protecting users from heat, glare and noise. Sound absorption fabrics contributes to reduction of the reverberation time and therefore improves acoustic comfort in interiors. For example, our leading 3% openness factor dimout fabric absorbs 40% of the sound with an air gap of 100mm (αw=0.40 or NRC = 0.35), creates more comfortable and soothing interiors. Sound management textiles are designed to be effective within the range of 250 Hz and 2,000 Hz, to which our hearing is particularly sensitive to this frequency. Improved acoustics increases comfortability in the room and in workplace settings, occupants will have better communication and clearer understanding of each other. This contributes to improved productivity and wellbeing, as stress is reduced and people get less tired. Our noise reduction fabrics are measured for their acoustic values and some are specifically selected due to their high acoustic performance.
